The School of Mathematics and Statistics offers an MSc that focuses on diverse areas including statistics, probability, discrete mathematics, applied mathematics, algebra and analysis, cryptography research for government, networks, coding theory and fluid dynamics. There are also concentrations in both Mathematics and Statistics.
The School is a member of the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Mathematics and Statistics (OCIMS), which offers one of the largest graduate programs in mathematics and statistics in Canada.
